EL MARIELLA (Morion – El Marina / Ganges)
Very good results were achieved by Michałów-bred horses at the InterCup and EuroCup Show which was held on 20th and 21st August in Prague. Out of seven Michałów-bred horses that took part in the show, six qualified for the championships, while three of them stood twice on the podium, winning six medals in total. On Saturday afternoon, the two-year-old bay EL MARIELLA (Morion – El Marina / Ganges) won the class with 92.25 points and 4×20 for movement, while on Sunday she collected the bronze medal in the junior fillies’ category at the international InterCup Show as well as the silver medal in the same category for the horses bred and owned by European citizens.
In the senior female category, both bronze medals were collected by the four-year-old grey WILDANOVA (WH Justice – Wilda / Gazal Al Shaqab), while the winner of the last senior stallion class, the ten-year-old grey ZŁOTY MEDAL (QR Marc – Złota Orda / Pesal) was awarded with two Silver Champion Senior Stallion titles in both InterCup and EuroCup. All three medalists were excellently presented by Artur Łojowski, who also led the six-year-old grey PARANTELLA (Kahil Al Shaqab – Palanga / Ekstern) to victory in her class with a total score of 93.00 points, including a 20 for type and 3×20 for movement. In the hands of Paweł Syliwoniuk, the eight-year-old grey EL MEDONIA (Shanghai EA – El Medina / Gazal Al Shaqab) also performed very well, placing second in the 7-9-year-old mares’ class with the score of 91.75 points, including 2×20 for type and 2×20 for head.
In the Geldings Championship which was held on Saturday, there were also some Michałów accents. The five-year-old bay DEL RIO (Forman – Dama Pik / Enzo), bred at our stud, currently owned by The Owl LTD and shown by Gerald Kurtz, became Gold Champion Gelding with almost 3-points advantage over his rivals.
