On Friday 20th May, after a monthly stay at Służewiec Horse Clinic in Warsaw, EMPIRE galloped onto the greener pastures. This 13-year-old grey son of ENZO and EMIRA by LAHEEB was Polish National Champion Junior Colt, Bronze European Champion Junior Colt and Polish National Bronze Champion Senior Stallion to name just a few of his show titles. After a successful show career, EMPIRE performed the duties of a breeding stallion, leaving valuable progeny in Michałów and at other studs. As far as Michałów horses are concerned, EL LARINERA is the one that really stands out as a broodmare. She is the dam of a very promising two-year-old colt EL BRILLO (by Morion) and a yearling filly ELLUNA (by Woronin).
The loss of EMPIRE is a huge blow to Michałów Stud. The injury of his hind leg did not look serious at first and the Michałów team have done everything to save the stallion’s life. The team of Służewiec Horse Clinic also fought for their patient till the very end, for which we are immensely grateful.
