Last weekend we ended the show season by competing in the last, most important and most difficult one – the World Championships in Paris. Our Stud in the French capital was presented by two mares, whose performances can certainly be counted as very successful.
The two-year-old WILDONARA (Paris – Wildona / Shanghai E.A.) was second in class during Friday’s competition with a score of 92,50 (including 3 x 20 for type), which gave her a place in the Top Ten of the World Junior Mare Championships.
The chestnut POGANINKA (El Omari – Pentra / Poganin) once again proved that she is endowed with above-average movement. She earned a set of 20 points from all judges for the trot she presented. The total score was 91.64 points, which gave her third place in class and a place in the Top Ten of the World Senior Mare Championships. She was also awarded a special prize – for the best movement among mares.
Successful starts were also scored by horses bred in Michałów, representing their new owners. PUSTYNNA NOC (WH Kaneko MS – Pustynna Rosa / Ekstern) was evaluated with 91,64 points placing 6th in class. EMARELLA (Sahm El Arab – Emandorella / Eden C) received a total score of 92.86 – including as many as 10 times the judges awarded her maximum points. She was also recognised in the Championship – she received 2 votes from the judges for gold and 1 for silver.
World Championships always stir up a lot of emotions – a fight in the ring with the best of the best, the culmination of a whole year of training, preparations and starts makes us both summarise and make plans for the next season. For the next few months we won’t be going out and fighting in the ring, but it doesn’t mean that these will be quiet weeks at the Stud – in a week’s time we invite you to Michałów for another edition of the Winter Arabian Horse Auction, and before we know it we will be welcoming the eagerly awaited representatives of the 2025th yearbook.
