As every year at the beginning of June, the attention of all breeders, owners and enthusiasts of Arabian horses was focused on Białka Stud, where the 35th Junior Spring Show were held.
Michałów Stud was represented by 15 horses, our team this year was supported by the duo Nicola and Enrico Mearelli from Elegantica Training Center and the training centre of Joanna Wojtecka and Paweł Kozikowski. The joint effort was crowned by winning four medals – two silver and two bronze.
On Saturday morning, the youth competitions began with the yearling colts. In the 1A class the first place with a score of 91,50 was won by AARON (KA Nabras – Anielka / Ekstern) and the second place went to DYTWIN (Morion – Dama Róż / Vitorio TO) rated at 91,17 points.


In the two-year-olds colts class EGNER (Prometeusz – Emdrona / Medalion) was scored 90.33 points which gave him 2nd place. PARTES (Dominic M – Protekcja / Ekstern) was placed 7th with a score of 89,50 points.
In the first yearling filly class the Michałów-bred PEORIA (Mutabahi Al Hawajer – Protekcja / Ekstern) owned by Sama Najed was placed 2nd with a score of 91,50 points.
In class 4B we could cheer on as many as 4 of our horses. The best was ZANELLA (Mutabahi Al Hawajer – Zigi Zara / Shanghai E.A.) scored 91,50 points which gave her 2nd place. Fourth and fifth places were consecutively won by WIOSENNA PRZYGODA (KA Nabras – WIOSENNA RÓŻA / Empire) and EL BELLA (Mutabahi Al Hawajer – El Bellisima / Ascot DD). In seventh place was FIDELIA (Pertus PA – Fortecja / El Omari) with a score of 90.50 points.
In the last class held on Saturday afternoon, the third place, with the highest score among our yearlings, 91.83, was won by EPIFORANA (Mutabahi Al Hawajer – Espana / QR Marc).
On Sunday we were the first to see the two-year-old DALBERGIA (Ferrum – Daggara / Empire) who scored a set of twenties from the movement and a total score of 91,50 points which gave her 4th place in the class.
In the next class of two year old mares the debutant at the show PUSTYNNA ZORZA (Ptolemeusz – Pustynna Palma / El Omari) did very well and with a high score of 92,00 points was placed second. Seventh place went to EL CORTINADA (Erantis – El Larinera / Empire) whose performance was scored 90.33 points.

In the three year old mares’ class the entire podium belonged to Michałów’s horses. The winner was WILDONARA (Paris – Wildona / Shanghai E.A.), ahead of the debutant EKAROSA (Paris – Emandoria / Gazal Al Shaqab), trained and presented by Paweł Kozikowski. Both mares were scored exactly 92,17 points, with Wildonara getting the higher type score. The podium was closed by PUSTYNIA WIKTORII (Dominic M – Pustynia Kahila / Kahil Al Shaqab), whose performance was scored at 91.83 points.


In the first championship – the Yearling Colts Championship, the Silver Medal and the title of Vice-Champion was won by DYTWIN (Morion – Dama Róż / Vitorio TO). The Bronze Medal went to AARON (KA Nabras – Anielka / Ekstern).
Right on top of the medal places, the IV place of the Junior Stallion Championship went to the two-year-old EGNER (Prometeusz – Emdrona / Medalion).
The Silver Medal and the title of V-ce Champion Yearling Filly was won by ZANELLA (Mutabahi Al Hawajer – Zigi Zara / Shanghai E.A.), and in the Top Five was also PEORIA (Mutabahi Al Hawajer – Protekcja / Ekstern).

After great performances in the class, Michałów’s three-year-olds had to accept the superiority of their Janów competitors. The Bronze Medal of the Junior Fillies Championship was won by EKAROSA (Paris – Emandoria / Gazal Al Shaqab). It is worth mentioning that the judges appreciated her performance and she won two votes for second place. The Top Five of the Junior Mare Championships were completed by PUSTYNNA ZORZA (Ptolemeusz – Pustynna Palma / El Omari) in fourth place and WILDONARA (Paris – Wildona / Shanghai E.A.) in fifth place.
