15 years ago, on Saturday 26th of April, 2008, the elite broodmare Palmira (Monogramm – Palestra/Penitent) foaled a grey filly by Al Maraam (Imperial Imdal – The Vision HG/Thee Desperado).

During 2006-2008 Al Maraam was leased from Ariela Arabians to Michałów, where he left very promising fillies, among them the aforementioned Parmana.

Already as a yearling she became the Reserve Champion at the Junior Spring Show in Białka and received the the title of Top Five at the Polish National Arabian Horse Show in Janów Podlaski.

Leased to Athbah Stud she shower her worth. In 2010 and 2011 together with Glenn Schoukens she reached for more honors:

Junior Champion Mare – Ströhen, Germany 2010

Elran Cup Junior Bronze Champion Mare – Hasselt, Belgium 2010

World Junior Top Ten Mare – Paris, France 2010

West Coast Cup Junior Bronze Champion Mare – Koksijde, Belgium 2011

In 2015 she participated in the Polish Nationals, where she won the “class of death” (7-10 year old mares) with a score of 92,5.

Parmana proved her value also as a broodmare. Her first foal born at the maternal stud was a bay filly by Kahil Al Shaqab named Parmania. The daughter was not inferior to her mother in beauty and charisma and did very well at shows, placing at the top of her classes.

Whereas Parmana’s best son so far is Ptolemeusz by Złoty Medal.

Ptolemeusz is a steel-grey youngster, with great carriage, a beautiful eye and finely carved neck. As a two year old he became Junior Spring Show Silver Champion in Białka and European Junior Silver Champion in Prague. Last year he was chosen Polish National Senior Silver Champion Stallion in Janów Podlaski. And that was definitely not the last that we will hear of him.

Parmana is a very valuable mare for Michałów Stud, like a jug that carries the finest wine.

Happy birthday!
