The 36th Junior Spring Show, held on June 6–7 at the Białka Stud, was a spectacular success for the Michałów Stud.
In the first class for yearling colts (1A) held on Saturday, the bay DIAREN (Morion – Dianora / Vitorio TO) won the class with a score of 91.67 (the highest among all the colts presented) and two 20s for movement, while his stablemates EDGELEY (Erantis – Emiremia / Morion) and EGIDIJUS (Ptolemeusz – Emandonna / Ascot DD) took third and fourth place, respectively.

In the two-year-old colts class (2B), last year’s European Champion Yearling Colt, the bay DYTWIN (Morion – Dama Róż / Vitorio TO), defeating in a close contest other Michałów-bred horses: the grey AARON (KA Nabras – Anielka / Ekstern), who took second place, and the brown PATRAS (Mutabahi Al Hawajer – Pustynia Kahila / Kahil Al Shaqab), who had to settle for third place.

In the one-year-old fillies class, Michałów was represented by two contestants. In class 4A, the grey ZŁOTA PERŁA (Ptolemeusz – Złota Wstęga / Empire) took fourth place, and in class 4B, the grey ELGORIA (Atticus ENB – Elgeria / Esparto) finished in fifth place.
Sunday’s competition began with the two-year-old fillies, and the very first class of the day, thanks to the Michałów representatives, provided unforgettable moments. They won the class as a trio: EPIFORANA (Mutabahi Al Hawajer – Espana / QR Marc) took first place with the show’s highest score of 92.83 and two “20s” for type, as well as a full set of “20s” for movement; ZANELLA (Mutabahi Al Hawajer – Zigi Zara / Shanghai E.A.) with a score of 92.33 and a “20” for type and head and neck, as well as a full set of “20s” for movement, took second place, while FIDELIA (Petrus PA – Fortecja / El Omari) was third with a score of 92.17 and two “20s” for movement. Seventh place in this class went to the fourth representative from Michałów – the grey WIOSENNA PRZYGODA (KA Nabras – Wiosenna Róża / Empire) scored 91.00 points.

The competition in the next class of 2-year-old fillies ended with a third-place finish for the grey ZAZZERA (KA Nabras – Zigi Zana / QR Marc).
The 3-year-old fillies were the last to be presented in the ring; in class 6A, two debutantes from Michałów competed – ESPERIA (Erantis – Editoria / Ekstern) placed third, and FABIANA (Atticus ENB – Ferrmaria / El Omari) placed fifth.
The afternoon championship competition began with the yearling colts; out of the 6 qualified colts, the judges unanimously selected DIAREN as the Gold Medalist and awarded the Bronze Medal to EDGELEY.

In the Junior Colt Championship, both the Gold-winning DYTWIN and the Silver-winning AARON were unanimously selected as winners by the judges.

The most highly rated filly in the show—EPIFORANA—won the most recent championship, beating out ZANELLA and EJNA from Białka in the battle for the medals.

At the end of the show, the gold medalists from each championship competed for the “Best in Show” title—it was clear to the judges that there could be only one winner: EPIFORANA.
This year’s edition of the Białka show confirmed the class of the stallion MORION (Kahil Al Shaqab – Mesalina / Ekstern) as the best current sire in the state studs breeding program. Two of his sons dominated the colt classes and won their championships hands down.

Once again, the collaboration between the Michałów team and the Elegantcia Training Center—comprising Nicola and Enrico Mearelli and Filippo Lanzi—has brought excellent results. The Polish-Italian team from the Michałów Stud will certainly do their utmost to meet the high standards set in the season-opening show in their upcoming competitions.
