His sire is the successful Michałów-bred ZŁOTY MEDAL – Białka Junior Spring Show Yearling Gold Champion, Polish National Junior Silver Champion, Białka Junior Spring Show Silver Champion, Polish National Senior Top Five, All-Polish Senior Bronze Champion, twice Prague Intercup Senior Silver Champion, European Cup Senior Silver Champion, European Cup Senior Gold Champion, European Senior Silver and Bronze Champion, Polish National Gold Senior Champion Stallion, a grandson of the iconic showmare ZAGROBLA (World and US National Champion Mare, among others).
PORTO RICO’s dam PARMANIA has been crowned All-Polish Senior Silver Champion Mare and has repeatedly placed in the top five of her classes at the Junior Spring Show, the Polish Nationals, the Al Khalediah European Arabian Horse Festival and the European Championships. Apart from PORTO RICO she has also produced Junior Spring Show Gold Champion Mare PESALINA. PARMANIA is a maternal sister to champion chief sire PTOLEMEUSZ – Junior Spring Show Silver Champion Stallion, European Junior Silver Champion Stallion and Polish National Senior Silver Champion Stallion.
PARMANIA is a daughter of PARMANA, a highly decorated mare as Junior Spring Show Reserve Champion Mare, Polish National Junior Top Five Mare, International Junior Champion Mare, Elran Cup Junior Bronze Champion Mare, World Junior Top Ten Mare and International West Coast Cup Junior Bronze Champion Mare.
PARMANA is a maternal sister to PRAWICA (UK Champion Mare) and megastar PISTORIA (several time World Top Ten Mare, European Junior Champion Mare, Austrian International Senior Bronze Champion Mare, European Senior Reserve Champion Mare, All Nations Cup Senior Bronze Champion Mare and just recently in 2018: UAE National Senior Gold Champion Mare & Abu Dhabi International Arabian Horse Championships Senior Gold Champion Mare), sold for 625 thousand Euro at the 2015 Pride of Poland Sale.
