On the first day of autumn, the 32nd racing day was held at the Warsaw Racecourse Służewiec, which mostly belonged to Arabian horses.
The race no. 2 for the Ekstern Prize, in which 7 horses were entered, including those representing Michałów Stud – DIAFORA (Ganges – De Longa / DA Adios (US)) trained by Robert Świątek and ECHWITA (Ganges – Echeta / KA Czubuthan (US)), trained by Wiesław Kryszyłowicz, stirred up great emotions among Michałów’s racehorse fans. The race was won by DIAFORA, who led in the distance and broke away from the pack in the final straight. Congratulations are also due to Oliwia Szarłat on horseback, for whom it was the 25th victory in her career, which gave her promotion to the jockey trainee category. ECHWITA, ridden by Małgorzata Kryszyłowicz, came in fifth.
There was just as much excitement in the following races – it is impossible not to mention this year’s Gazelle, Mlecha and Sahara Award (Oaks). The winner of this fierce race was CECHINI (Mu’Azzaz – Cernike / Madras Kossack) bred and owned by the Talarek family, just behind her placed FORMUŁA MS (No Risk Al Maury – Farha / Nougatin) bred and owned by Monika Stelmaszczyk and the podium was closed by EYD’A ALFASH (Ontario HF (US) – Emirah / Nougatin) bred and owned by M. Nieznańska.
During the 32nd day of racing the most important for our Stud was undoubtedly the MICHAŁÓW PRIZE, a 2,800 metres race in the A category for 4-year-old and older Arabian horses. Seven horses were entered and the winner was unexpectedly the stallion FRAGNAR (Al Mamun Monlau – Fioretta / Saracen) bred and owned by Monika Stelmaszczyk, trained by Adam Wyrzyk and ridden by his daughter Joanna.
In the last race of the day, held for 3 year old pure bred Arabian horses of group II, we could see our 2 representatives – the stallion DELIKT (Morion – Diara / Eryks) trained and ridden by Małgorzata Kryszyłowicz confidently won over a distance of 2,000 metres, thus proving that he is not only beautiful but also brave. The PONDEROSA (Chimeryk – Palisandra / Kahil Al Shaqab (US)) trained by Wiesław Kryszyłowicz placed 4th.
After an exciting weekend on the racecourse, we warmly encourage you to cheer on our mares at the All Nations Cup in Aachen in the near future.
