The daughter of the delightful class winning GOLTERIA, GOLTRA is an enchanting youngster from an extremely versatile family of GASTRONOMIA, encompassing both show and race achievers.
GOLTRA is the very first female produce of GOLTERIA. As a yearling GOLTERIA began her career where all Polish horses start off – at the Junior Spring Show in Białka. She placed second in class and received a top mark for movement, which would become her signature trait. The next year at Białka GOLTERIA upped her previous result by winning her class with a score of 91.33 pts and again a „20” for movement. Fast forward to a couple of months to the Polish Nationals, where she also won her class, awarded 92 pts (interestingly – this score was higher than those of the show’s Junior Champion and Reserve Champion PALARA & EKSTERNA, who each received 91,33) and as usual – a top mark for movement.
GOLTRA’s dam GOLTERIA is also particularly special in a way that she is one of the best get of multi European and Middle Eastern champion GALBA foaled on Polish soil. She descends from the enormously accomplished family of GASTRONOMIA. In fact all Polish-bred equines starting with the letter „G” descend from this one foundress! This means that GOLTRA’s relatives, among many others, include race and Salon du Cheval class winner GIZELA and her superb daughters: Oaks winner GARONNA (dam of champion chief sire GANGES), multi stakes winner GENEZA, Polish National Champion GASKONIA (dam of champion sires GASKOŃCZYK, GASPAR & GRAFIK), World & Polish National Senior Silver Champion GEORGIA (dam of South African super star GEORGETOWN, as well as World & Polish National Champion GALILEA), GWARANCJA (dam of Derby winner GWARO) and GIZA (dam of Race Horse of the Year GEPARD).
