EPICURUS is a young son of the Michałów-bred GANGES, who is making his debut at stud in the 2024 breeding season.
The “bold and beautiful” GANGES represents the very core of the Polish breeding program as a victorious race horse (winner of the Koheilan I St.) and show star, wielding the titles of Blommeröd International Senior Champion/Best in Show, Polish National Senior Champion, All Nations Cup Senior Reserve Champion, Columbus Senior Champion & US National Senior Reserve Champion. His dam GARONNA, an Oaks winner, is one of seven superb daughters of race and Salon du Cheval class winner GIZELA, alongside multi stakes winner GENEZA, Polish National Champion GASKONIA (dam of champion sires GASKOŃCZYK, GASPAR & GRAFIK), World & Polish National Senior Silver Champion GEORGIA (dam of South African super star GEORGETOWN, as well as World & Polish National Champion GALILEA), GWARANCJA (dam of Derby winner GWARO) and GIZA (dam of Race Horse of the Year GEPARD).
EPICURUS’ dam ELLISSIMA is a daughter of EMMBLA, Gold Medalist from the Summer Arabian Horse Performance in Wrocław. EMMBLA is a maternal sister to EMIRA, double Polish National Champion Mare as both a junior and senior, as well as to Polish National Champion Stallion EL OMARI.
