Last weekend, on June 24th and 25th, Modliszewice hosted the 16th Świętokrzyska Livestock Exhibition. The organizer of the exhibition was the Świętokrzyski Agricultural Advisory Center in Modliszewice and the Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Milk Producers, Świętokrzyski Cattle Breeders Association, Lubuski Sheep and Goat Breeders Association together with the Świętokrzyskie Rabbit and Small Livestock Breeders Association.
During the exhibition you could see many species and breeds of farm animals.
36 dairy cattle participated in the exhibition. Michałów Stud presented a group of Jersey and Holstein-Friesian cows. The title of champion in the Jersey breed was won by the cow WERBENA 72, this year’s reserve champion from Poznań. The title of reserve champion in this breed went to the cow KAMELA 106. Among the Holstein-Friesian cows, the title of champion was awarded to the cow HALABARDA 18 in the category of maiden cows.
