This weekend, June 24th and 25th, 6 of our horses trained in Wrocław will run at Warsaw’s Służewiec Racetrack.
One of the main races on Saturday afternoon is the Ganges St., a race for 3-year-old Arabian horses of the 1st group (special).
The trainers who take care of Michałów’s racers entered as many as 4 horses for this race. Trainer Małgorzata Kryszyłowicz entered two fillies – Złota Ważka (Muranas Jassehr – Złota Wstęga/ Empire) and Escortera (Alert – Esmeraldia/ QR Marc). Trainer Wiesław Kryszyłowicz entered the stallion Epicurus (Ganges – Ellissima/ Albedo), and the stable of Robert Świątek will be represented by Waldivia (Ganges – Wkraza/ Albedo). This race starts at 6 pm.
A few words about the stallion Ganges.
Bred in 1994 in Michałów, the bay stallion Ganges (Monogramm – Garonna/Fanatyk) is a continuer of the Kuhailan Haifi d.b. sire line. He combines the best traits of the Polish Arabian with his exemplary charisma and refined looks.
Before his stamina trials on the track began, in 1995-96 he was named Polish Junior Champion Stallion. For the next two years he was in racing training, scoring 3 victories in 16 starts. He won the Koheilan I St. and was third in the competition for the Białka St., which proves that he was also able to gallop quickly.
After returning from the track, he was successful in the show rings. Successes in Poland – 2001 Polish Senior Champion Stallion, in Europe (2000 – International Senior Champion Stallion, Blommeröd, 2001 – All Nations Cup Reserve Champion Stallion, Aachen) and in the USA (2002 – National Senior Stallion Champion, Columbus (OH), 2003 – US National Senior Reserve Champion Stallion, Albuquerque (NM)). His offspring, like himself, are doing well on the track. Due to his career on the track, the following get should be mentioned above all: Derby winner Don Carlos, Oaks (2nd place) – Fira, and the top stallions of their respective years: Gonges z Reguła and Ghazallah.

In the second race of the day, for 3-year-old Arabian mares of the 2nd group of domestic breeding registered in the Polish Arabian Stud Book (PASB), we will see the filly Echeveria (Severus – Echeta/ KA Czubuthan), entered by Wiesław Kryszyłowicz, and in the Janów (Arabian Produce) St. – Cat A, a race for 4-year-old Arabian colts and fillies of domestic breeding registered in the Polish Arabian Stud Book (PASB) – the grey colt Ember (Kurier – Echala/ DA Adios), entered by Małgorzata Kryszyłowicz.
