Last Friday, on October 27th, we said goodbye to one of the most distinguished mares of Michałów, the 27-year-old Emanda (Ecaho – Emanacja/ Eukaliptus). Coming from a dynasty of champions, Emanda is a three-time Polish Reserve Champion (1998, 2003 and 2006), World Champion (2001), and Reserve Champion of the Junior Spring Show in Białka (1998).
She confirmed her value to the stud farm not only as a show mare, but above all as an outstanding mother. As one of the few champion mares, she produced, in combination with World Champion stallion Gazal Al Shaqab, the phenomenal grey mare Emandoria, who also won the title of World Champion (Gold and Platinum).
Emanda’s second known daughter is also a grey mare, Emandorissa, by Abha Qatar. Emandorissa’s performances in the senior mares’ classes give you goosebumps, she always looks proud when trotting with her tail held high. Appreciated by the judges, during her career she won the title of Polish Reserve Champion (2020) and European Reserve Champion (2020).
Emanda passed away very calmly, as if she had fallen asleep.
