The 2024 racing season at the Wrocław Racing Track – Partynice started on April 21st, but Michałów’s Arabians raced for the first time this year on May 3rd, on the second race day. The May “long-weekend” at Partynice started on Wednesday, May 1st, and visitors to the Wrocław track could count on many attractions prepared by the hosts, including: attractions for children, an extensive gastro zone, Lower Silesian vineyards and breweries, handicraft stands, workshop sessions, yoga classes.
The 2nd Race Day was marked by beautiful, sunny weather. Friday, May 3rd, consisted of seven races, three of which were exclusively for pure-bred Arabian horses, with 51 horses entered.
On that day, Michałów Stud horses, trained this season at Partynice in the stable of Małgorzata and Wiesław Kryszyłowicz and Justyna Domańska, had their debut on the track.
In the first race of the day for 3-year-old purebred Arabian horses of the 2nd group, which have not raced (1600 m) competed ECHWITA and EL MARINERA. Echwita (Ganges – Echeta/ KA Czubuthan) reached the wire third, followed by El Marinera (Wares – El Marina/Ganges).
Entered for the next race was the mare Echistka (Ganges – Echala/DA Adios). She did great on the track, losing first place only to the filly Al Balqa’a (FR). Echistka’s second place makes us very happy and allows us to hope for great results in the next races, especially since she defeated by 2 lengths the filly Hm Al Fayza with a purely French pedigree.
The race that closed the racing day was a race for 4-year-old and older purebred Arabian horses of group III (1907 m). Another Michałów graduate, Ekavir (Severus – Echala/DA Adios), also took a paid place, this time fifth. The grey Echalon (Severus – Echmeda/Ontario HF), who also took part in this race after a year’s break, took sixth place because he was frolicking in the paddock and during training and couldn’t find his way on the green track yet.
It was a very beautiful and exciting day for horse racing enthusiasts.
