2023 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS– 5 MEDALS FOR HORSES WITH MICHAŁÓW ROOTS

This year’s European Championships took place in the Italian town of Bedizzole. On October 28-29th, horses bred in Europe fought for the titles of champions. This title show could not miss horses owned by Michałów Stud. As we already wrote previously, 9 of our horses went to Italy. All horses competed in their classes, eight of them entered the TOP Five, and three qualified for the championships on Sunday afternoon. These were El Medar (Morion – El Medonia/ Shanghai E.A.) – 1st place in class with a score of 91.65 points, El Bellisima (Ascot DD – Ekliptyka/ Ekstern) – 2nd place in class with a score of 92 points, including three “20s” for movement and Złoty Medal (QR Marc – Złota Orda/ Pesal) – 2nd place in class with a score of 91.55.

It is worth adding that all senior mares were rated above 91 points, unfortunately it was not enough for them to compete in the championships and fight for medals.

Ultimately, El Medar was elected European Silver Junior Champion Stallion, losing to the colt El Draco RA, bred by Regina Arabians from Poland. El Draco RA (Morion – El Medisa/Shanghai E.A.) is a horse with a pure Michałów pedigree.

While Złoty Medal was elected European Bronze Senior Champion Stallion, the gold in this championship was won by Equiborn K.A., the snow-white stallion is the son of the Michałów mare Espadrilla by Monogramm and the stallion QR Marc.

This is not the end of achievements of horses with Michałów pedigrees.

The European Silver Champion was the mare Platyna NA, out of the Michałów-bred mare Pantera (Ekstern – Pampa/ Gazal Al Shaqab), bred in Poland by Alicja Najmowicz from NANA Arabians and owned by Hanaya Stud from Switzerland.

The award for the best movement went to the 15-year-old mare Lawinia (Ekstern – Luanda/ Emigrant), purchased at the Pride of Poland auction in 2020 by the Flaxman Arabians. Lavinia collected a set of 20s for move.

Michałów Stud also received an award for the breeder who entered the largest number of horses.

Artur Łojowski was honored with a statuette for the Best Presenter.

It was a very successful show for Michałów Stud, because the total score was 5 medals for horses with Michałów roots.
